Jamie Saft

Jamie Saft è un pianista virtuoso, tastierista, produttore e compositore di New York. La sua versatilità stilistica, le sue capacità di polistrumentista e la sua abilità nella produzione sono state apprezzate da Beastie Boys, Bad Brains, HR, The B-52's, John Zorn, John Adams, Laurie Anderson, Donovan, Antony and the Johnsons e Iggy Pop. Saft guida il New Zion Trio, il Jamie Saft Trio e il Jamie Saft Quartet. Saft ha collaborato con leggende della musica come Wadada Leo Smith, Roswell Rudd, Marshall Allen, Danny Ray Thompson, Dave Liebman, Joe Morris, Hamid Drake, Bobby Previte, Steve Swallow, Darryl Jenifer e Cyro Baptista. Saft ha composto numerose colonne sonore originali per film, tra cui "Murderball", candidato all'Oscar, e "God Grew Tired Of Us", vincitore del Sundance. Saft ha inoltre realizzato numerose colonne sonore per Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Vice TV, NFL Football, CBS e A&E. Attualmente Saft gestisce l'etichetta discografica indipendente Veal Records e la Potterville International Sound, entrambe con sede a Kingston, NY.
